CLASSROOM TEACHER – fixed term until 31st August 2021

The school is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher to commence on 4th December (or as soon as possible thereafter). The post will be to teach in a Year 2 class.

The successful candidate will work on the following working schedule: • Monday 8.30am – 4pm • Tuesday 8.30am – 4pm • Wednesday 8.30 – 3.15pm The successful candidate will work under guidance, implement work programmes for individuals/groups and provide feedback to teachers to assist in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.

Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced having worked as a classroom or teaching assistant within a primary school for a minimum of 12 months and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification. Crooksbarn Primary School wishes to appoint a highly motivated, enthusiastic and imaginative Teaching Assistant to work on a one to one basis supporting a pupil. The successful candidate will work on the following working schedule: • Tuesday 1.30 – 3pm • Thursday 12.30 – 3pm This position will commence as soon as possible. Applicants will possess NVQ Level 2 or equivalent. The school is looking for applicants with excellent communication and ICT skills, who can develop effective relationships with pupils and colleagues, and be able to follow teachers’ plans.
