Teaching Assistant (Band 5) SCP 13-15, £12,171.85 – £12,600.68 per annum (pro rata), permanent, 31 hours and 45 minutes per week, term time only including PD days

 

West View Primary School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed level two teaching assistant. The successful candidate will work under guidance, implement work programmes for individuals/groups and provide feedback to teachers to assist in the whole planning cycle and the management/preparation of resources.

Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced having worked as a classroom or teaching assistant within a primary school for a minimum of 12 months and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.

This is a permanent position to commence as soon as possible.

Teaching Assistant (Band 6) SCP 16-18, £12,856.80 – £13,337.30 per annum (pro rata), fixed-term until 31st August 2018, 31.75 hours per week, term time only including PD days

  

West View Primary School wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teaching Assistant on a fixed-term basis for two terms. This position would be to start as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will work with teachers to support teaching and learning by working with individuals and/or small groups of pupils, adjusting activities within set parameters under the direction, guidance and supervision of teaching staff. The successful candidate will also have responsibility to provide short term emergency cover by supervising classes.

Candidates should be suitably qualified and experienced, possessing a NVQ level 3 or equivalent and having worked as a classroom or teaching assistant within a primary school, for a minimum of 12 months and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.

Lunch-time Supervisory Assistant – West Park Primary School, Coniscliffe Road, Hartlepool, TS26 0BU

Band 3 spinal point 11, £1937.01 per annum (pro rata), permanent, 5 hours and 25 minutes per week, term time only (190 days per year).

West Park Primary School wishes to appoint a new lunch-time Supervisory Assistant to join the Supervisory Assistant team within school and as such has a vacancy for a suitably experienced, enthusiastic and committed individual.

The successful candidate will supervise activities and maintain the health, safety, welfare, good conduct and safeguarding of pupils during the break times, having regard to special or additional needs.

The successful candidate will have experience of experience working with Children, and of working as part of a team. They should be suitably experienced and be able to meet the criteria detailed on the person specification.
